    Mark your calendars...the summer 2024 Aitkin Baseball program is all set! Evaluation and Tryout Practice Saturday, February 17, 2024 Aitkin High School All players, ages 14 and under, interested in Aitkin summer baseball are welcome to go though stations and prepare for tryouts for the 2024 season. There will be 4-5 practice stations for your child to practice at. Each will be run very similar to the Evaluation Day stations. Players may practice as long as they like during their designated time slot. In-house Evaluations and Travel Tryouts Saturday, February 24, 2024 All players, ages 14 and under, MUST attend. Times will be posted soon. Registration through community education is for the payment portion of the registration process. You need to first register at www.aitkinbaseball.com
  • Summer Softball

    Join Aitkin Youth Fastpitch Softball for a summer of FUN! The summer is broken down into In-House and Travel Leagues. In-house league plays games at the Roost 2 nights a week. Travel teams play tournaments and some week night games. More information can be found at www.aitkinsoftball.com
  • Dance Team Spring Clinic and Evaluations

    The Aitkin All Starz coaching staff is looking to grow the dance team program and we are inviting students in Grades 6-11 to attend our Spring Clinic & Evaluations. Dance experience is not required. We are looking for athletes with a desire to learn, work hard and have fun! At the Spring Clinic, dancers can expect to learn a short routine and work on a variety of dance team skills. Dancers must attend at least two Spring Clinic sessions to be eligible for Evaluations. This also applies to current and former dance team members. The Evaluations are held to assess individual abilities and earn a spot on the Aitkin All Starz winter competition dance team. Dancers will be assigned into groups for evaluations. Each group will be assigned to a specific time slot to perform the Spring Clinic routine and demonstrate a variety of dance skills. All dancers and their parents will receive an email from the coaching staff shortly after evaluations with their individual results and important details on upcoming events.   • Chess & Cribbage Club

    Learn the basics of each game and progress through to strategy of game play. Snack will be provided each day.
  • Big Dreamers Softball

    Big Dreamers is for girls going into or just completing Kindergarten. Big Dreamers is a fun atmosphere to learn the basics of softball. We will cover hitting, throwing, base running, positions, beginner catching and sportsmanship. The last session, we will have "Big Sisters" (older AYF players" join us for a softball game where the Big Dreamers each have a Big Sister to shadow them throughout the game. Big Dreamers will play on Monday July 8-29 from 6-7:30pm
