A program that has been a partnership between Aitkin County CARE and Rippleside for over 25 years, this initiative brings together older adults and 3rd graders in a pen-pal scenario. Each 3rd grader at Rippleside is given the name and address of a "Grandfriend". We will meet at the beginning of the year, and then write letters all school year. At the end of the year, we will celebrate with a luncheon. To register to be a grandfriend, please sign up online at www.isd1.ce,eleyo.com or call our office at 218-927-7736
  • Cribbage Club
